Our terms and conditions
Currently, our terms and conditions are not yet available in English. We are working on this issue and will provide a translation soon. The full T&C are on the German version of this website.
The most important terms are:
- Passengers must be in good health conditions for a long-distance flight. Any diseases that might impact the physical condition of a passenger during the flight must be reported before booking or whenever they occur after booking.
- Polarflug is not responsible for bad weather conditions and visibility.
- The flight itself is operated by the respective airline (the carrier) which provides aircraft, crew, insurances, AOC etc. airevents and the carrier have the right to cancel or postpone flights or to alter routings due to technical problems, higher force (strikes, weather etc.) or other reasons like not granted or revoked flight permissions even in the very last minute. In the event of a cancelled flight, all moneys paid will be fully refunded, without further liability. airevents also has the right to cancel flights if the minimum number of bookings has not been reached. Unless otherwise promoted, seat allocation takes place either at the check-in counter or in the aircraft (free seating).
- Route changes are always possible, for example due to governmental/ATC decisions. Passengers must be reasonably satisfied that they are medically fit to fly. Passengers with illnesses which may cause the flight to be diverted or perform an unscheduled stop passenger must be report the illness at time of booking or – at the latest – before boarding. In this case, travel might only be possible if a current medical certificate is provided in which a medicine declares a 12-13 hour flight to be uncritical. If a flight is interrupted after take off due to higher force (like medical event or technical failure), airevents cannot be made liable.
