Deutsche Polarflug was founded in June 2006 by Manuel Kliese, Sven Maertens and Sebastian Schmitz as a brand of AirEvents Limited, Essen/Germany, a company that has been organizing sightseeing flights and aviation tours for years.. We plan to operate flights to the Pole frequently in the future. Since our first flight on May 1, 2007, one to two flights have been operated annually.
